Many local buses stop beside the museum – ask for Regent Circus. Local buses are run by Swindon’s Bus Company and Stagecoach. Both accept Wiltshire Day Rover tickets.

The main stops for Swindon’s Bus Company are in Fleming Way, just north of the museum, about five minutes walk. Beside Fleming Way is the Bus Station, where most Stagecoach and all National Express buses stop.

There are several car parks close by – for a map and details of charges visit the Swindon Borough Council web site.

Our entrance and gallery has wheelchair access.

As a small museum unfortunately we don’t have public toilets or a cafe. The nearest public toilets are in the Central Library, just a minutes’ walk away. You will be re-admitted to the museum at no extra charge – just tell our desk volunteers that you’ll be back.

Swindon has many hotels to choose from including Travelodge hotels with Travelodge Swindon Central only a 4 minute walk away from the Museum.
